Filling in the Gap in your business succession

If you are thinking about selling your business, have you thought about HOW you will make sure the buyer is prepared to run the business and maintain your legacy?

Maybe the buyer will owe you money.  How will you ensure they can maintain the business so that you get your final payout?

I call the part of the transaction between knowing WHO and HOW much, the Filling in the GAP.    You may not have thought about it but it is a real thing, especially if you are selling to someone that works for you or a family member.

The Filling in the GAP entails how to ensure you have a good exit. 

At the end of the day, isn’t that the ultimate goal?
